Ashtanga Yoga
The Ashtanga Yoga is a style of yoga codified and popularized by K.
Pattabhi Jois during the 20th century which is often promoted as a modern-day
form of classical Indian yoga. Ashtanga means eight limbs or branches, of
which asana or physical yoga posture is merely one branch, breath
or pranayama is another.

All yoga asanas are
available in eight limb of yoga.God Budhha is also define ashatanga yoga which
is related to patanali ashtanga yogasutra.However the yogasutra establish after Budha.

Ashtanga yoga is a very important
sadhana (practice) process which is define in Patanjali sutra.

Near 200B.C. Maharshi Patanjali yoga is collect in written form
and create yoga sutra.

By this yoga sutra method
Patanjali called father of this yoga.They gave eight yoga-Yam, Niyam, Asanas,
Pranayama,Pratayahaar,Dharana, Dhyana & Samadhi.
